Ken Szekretar is an accomplished fitness professional with over 20 years experience in the industry. His personal training career started in Boulder Colorado in 1998 after graduating from SUNY Stony Brook with a BS in Biology. In 2002 he moved to NYC where he grew a successful personal training business while becoming an educator and presenter in the fitness industry. Ken has appeared on Good Morning America, CBS Morning News, Fox 5 Good Day New York, and in The New York Times. More recently he has narrowed his focus to working one on one with motivated clients who are serious about improving there health and well being. Over the years Ken has helped hundreds of clients achieve their goals and continue to improve their lives. He has developed a unique style and holistic approach to fitness which has enabled clients to lose weight, gain fitness, reduce pain, improve performance and retain function. Through proper diet and the right exercise prescription Ken enables his clients to reach and exceed their goals. Personal Training is available in home (limited area available) and in a private training facility located in the heart of the Upper East Side in Manhattan. Training programs begin with a consultation, movement assessment, and goal setting session. Once a baseline has been established, goals are set and a timeline laid out to help keep clients on track and making progress.
